Lieutenant Colonel Anthony W. Mault

LTC Anthony Mault began his military service as an enlisted infantryman in the 5th Infantry Division at Fort Polk, Louisiana.  LTC Mault is a Distinguished Military Graduate from Northwestern State University of Louisiana where he received his commission in the Air Defense Artillery.  He received his Master’s Degree in Education from William Carey University.

LTC Mault served as a Vulcan Platoon Leader in 3rd Battalion, 3rd Air Defense Artillery (Vulcan/Stinger), 5th Infantry Division, Fort Polk, Louisiana.  The Battalion was designated 2nd Battalion, 5th Air Defense Artillery (Bradley/Stinger), 2nd Armored Division and moved to Fort Hood, Texas, where he served as Battery Executive Officer and Battalion Assistant S3. 

Following the Air Defense Artillery Advanced Course, LTC Mault served as Assistant S3 (Plans/Exercises) with 69th Air Defense Artillery Brigade, Giebelstadt, Germany.  Later, he commanded Echo Battery, 6th Battalion, 52nd Air Defense Artillery (PATRIOT) in Ansbach, Germany.

  LTC Mault served as the Operations Officer for 1st Battalion, 346th Regiment (ADA), Camp Shelby, Mississippi, and as an Assistant Professor of Military Science at the University of Southern Mississippi. LTC Mault’s previous assignment was with the 3rd Brigade Combat Team (Rakkasans), 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), serving as the Brigade’s Air Defense Officer/Assistant S3 and OIC of the Air Defense Airspace Management Cell (ADAM) during the BCT’s transformation and deployment in support of OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM 07-05. LTC Mault took command of 1st Battalion, 346th Regiment (ADA), Camp Shelby Joint Forces Training Center, Mississippi, in June 2007 training mobilized Soldiers, Sailors, and Airmen in Counter Improvised Explosive Devise (CIED) defeat and Blue Force Tracker (BFT).

LTC Mault’s awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal (2OLC), Army Commendation Medal (1OLC), Army Achievement Medal (6OLC), Expert Infantryman’s Badge, Airborne and Air Assault Badge.
