UNIT MISSION:
2nd Battalion (TS) (CS/CSS) 312th Regiment trains, validates, and certifies Observer Controller/Trainer teams capable of executing Individual Training Battalion, Army Warrior Tasks and Battle drills. On order, mobilizes and deploys to Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst IOT conduct post mobilization individual training of Army and Joint Forces IAW 174th Infantry Brigade, First Army directives and theater specific requirements in support of overseas contingency operations.

In coordination with Joint Base and mission partners, 174th Infantry Brigade executes and certifies individual and collective training IAW theater specific standards at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, NJ for designated US Army Reserve, National Guard, Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard units to prepare Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, and Coast Guardsmen for deployment in support of Overseas Contingency Operations.
